MICHIGAN STEEL STRAPPING HISTORY:

Michigan Steel Strapping has the infrastructure in-house, to control each phase of our products from design to shipping the product out the door.  We do this to better service our customers and to ensure product quality.

                               1977 - Michigan Steel Strapping started

                                        selling steel as a steel broker.

1979 - Michigan Steel Strapping began processing

          steel including steel slitting and rolling.

                   1982 - Michigan Steel Strapping acquires a steel stamping

                          company specializing in automotive applications. 

1986 - Michigan Steel Strapping enters the packaging business with

           the manufacturing of banding seals and corner protectors.

                                         1990 - Michigan Steel Strapping began

                                             manufacturing steel strapping.

2000 - Michigan Steel Strapping sold the automotive end of our business to specialize in the packaging business.

2001 - Michigan Steel Strapping began concentrating on selling to packaging distributors.  We manufactured regular duty strapping, banding seals and corner protectors for domestic and international distributors.
